Charging and Remissions
From time to time activities take place in school or on outings, which are an extra cost to the school, such as items for food technology, wood or materials for craft, entrance costs for outings etc.
The school is not allowed to charge for such items, but a voluntary contribution will be asked for from parents.
No child will be excluded from an activity should a parent not make a contribution. In the case of an outing where there is a cost factor, should sufficient funds not be donated then the activity cannot take place.

School trips may be subsidised by the school with the help of the Friends of Chapel Green School, however parents will be asked for a contribution.
Should parents need advice over financial matters and allowances that concern the pupil, they are welcome to discuss them in strictest confidence with the Headteacher.
